Le VAFC enchaîne avec son cinquième match sans défaite (11 points sur 15) et une belle progression au classement, qui entretient l'espoir.

VA a fait une très belle première mi-temps, et malgré une ouverture du score de Châteauroux contre le cours du jeu, a su rebondir très rapidement avec un beau but de notre dernier arrivé Gasnier.
En seconde mi-temps, on a vu un but stratosphérique de Sissoko qui amène la victoire, puis une extinction des feux valenciennoise qui aurait pu coûter cher sans un sauvetage in-extremis de Basse.
